The Little Farm
Our beautiful 8-acre property was christened La Finquita, meaning “the little farm,” in 1988 when it was originally developed. The property was purchased in 2013 by the current owners, Charlie and Jess Koehler, who are the youngest winery owners and vintners in Ramona, and amongst the youngest in San Diego County. With the owners’ passion and ‘modern romance of wine’, La Finquita is truly a labor of love with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where you feel like part of the family. La Finquita’s unique property has beautiful views of the vineyards, the Ramona Valley and San Diego Country Estates. You can often catch a glimpse of red-tail hawks playing in the breeze above the winery and if you’re lucky you might meet one of our friendly neighborhood roadrunners that roam around the property.
